Rafting is a collective, fun and relaxing extreme sport that requires teamwork, mutual assistance and trust between the praticipants. What is rafting?

Rafting is a decent with inflatable boats in whitewater.

How many people can get in one raft?

Rafts fit 6 to 8 people and 1 guide.

Do we have to be the exact number of people who fit in one raft?

No, you can come even on your own. We have usually other groups which you could join. The descent is arranged with minimum 2 people.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes, all our programs are suitable for absolute beginners; there is no need of prior experience or physical fitness. You only need adventurous spirit. 🙂 Of course they will make sure you enjoy the time in the mountain and could give a lot of tips on what’s best to do in the area in your rest hours or days 🙂

How much does it cost?

The price is 50 BGN per person and includes: full equipment, guide, instruction and insurance.

How long does it take?

The whole event lasts about 3 hours, of which 1.5h in the river. The rest of the time is for changing, transfer and instructions.

How long is the route?

The entire length of the rafting route is 12 km.

What is the maximum capacity of people for one run?

Around 100 is the maximum number of people we could manage at once.

What should I bring?

All the necessary equipment is provided on the start point by us. You only need a swimming suit, a towel and clothes to change afterwards.

Which is the best season?

Rafting season opening is end of March and continues till late fall time. The river level depends on the yearly precipitation.

What covers the rafting insurance?

The price includes a group insurance for sport accident.

Is overnight stay possible and where?

We could provide support with arranging accommodation of several types depending on your preferences:
1. Tents at Adventure Net Camp:10 BGN per person. The price includes tent, sleeping bag and mat. Please make your reservation in advance.
2. Hotels and guest houses in the area.

Can I combine programs and dates based on my preferences?

Yes. All programs are 100% flexible and can be combined for dates of your choice. Various combinations are possible.

Where is the meeting place?

The junction to the Adventure Net Rafting Camp is at the beginning of Kresna Gorge, right after the second tunnel from Blagoevgrad – location. There you will find café- bar, restaurant, and lovely camping with swings, hammocks, places for tents, toilets, wireless internet – great place for your holiday! 🙂 🙂

How do I get back to my car after rafting?

We provide transfer from the final point of the route immediately after we get out of the river.

What does the equipment include?

The equipment which everyone receives is: neoprene, helmet, life jacket, paddle, water boots.
The wetsuit/neoprene keeps the body warm and protects you form obstacles such as branches and rocks.

Do I need to be a good swimmer?

No. The only requirement is that you are not afraid of water. Usually you dont’s swim in the river. In case of fall you do float along the river and the life vest keeps you on the surface. Your guide is fully trained, knows the safety instructions, and the river.

What is the professional qualification of the instructors?

All guides are certified according to the standards of the International Rafting Federation as whitewater guides for different river classes.

Is there someone to take photos or videos of our boat while in the river?

You can order photos or a video with the most existing and extreme moments of your descent.
The price of the photos is 50 BGN and it could be shared between all people in the boat.

Do you arrange rafting in case of rainy weather?

Yes! The rainy weather is not a problem for the rafting, even it could bring some additional emotions and fun.

Is it suitable for kids?

All participants under 18 years have to be in the boat with parent or guardian. During the high season – April, May, the kids could join dependin on the moment conditions, like water level. In the summer months younger kids could join their families in the boat.

How to book rafting?

In order to secure your seat in a raft you just need to call us or send us an e-mail. After confirmation we will ask you for deposit. We will need your full names and your identity number for making insurance.

How long in advance should I book my rafting adventure?

The earlier you sign up, the more options you will have to pick date and starting hour. At least one day before the event.
