Kayak weekend in the Rhodope Mountains. The nature reserve and the dam of the same name in the Western Rhodopes are a wonderful place for a secluded, dust-free holiday. No noisy companies in the neighborhood, alone with nature and its inhabitants.
The "Golyam Beglik" dam (former "Vasil Kolarov") can be reached by the main road 37 south from Dospat and north from Batak. The distance in both directions is about 19 km. Nearby are the Shiroka Polyana, Batak, Dospat and Toshkov Chark dams.
The Golyam Beglik dam is located at an altitude of 1525 m above sea level, and a road passes by it.
