Route
The road is very scenic and in some places it winds close to the shore, and in others it splits through the forest, in some places entering about half a kilometer into the ancient forest. The whole route by the dam is about 25 km long, of which only 5 km are asphalt.
The name of the reservoir, as well as the place Beglika, comes from the time of the Turkish rule and means the place where shepherds used to lead their flocks to be listed and taxed.
